The words 'indulge freely' are printed into each chocolate square. We believe these two words embody the essence of why The Conscious Bar was created - to create delicious guilt-free chocolate bars that stand the test of flavor, ethics & environmental responsibility.

What are the Health Benefits of Dark Chocolate?

All The Conscious Bars have a minimum of 72% cacao solids. Dark chocolate consumption has been shown to lower blood pressure. Dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants (cocoa polyphenols), which help combat free radicals implicated in heart disease and other ailments.

What are the Health Benefits of Dates?

Dates are stacked with antioxidants, minerals, and healthy fibers. Studies show dates can reduce inflammation, act as an energy booster, and promote heart and brain health.

Are there any Added Sugars in your bars?

The Conscious Bars contain NO added sugar whatsoever. They are gently sweetened with organic dates, containing 6-9 grams of natural sugar per bar.

Are The Conscious Bars suitable for a vegan diet?

Yes, all products are 100% vegan/plant-based with no dairy or eggs.

Are The Conscious Bars suitable for Paleo diets?

Yes, our bars are suitable for Paleo diets. Consult your dietitian to ensure proper integration with your diet plan.

Yes, all bars are gluten-free. Some bars include hazelnuts, almonds, espresso beans, tahini, orange oil, and coconut - all gluten-free.

Are The Conscious Bars Non-GMO?

Yes, we do not use any genetically modified ingredients in our chocolate making.

Are your bars certified Kosher?

Yes, our entire line of bars are certified Kosher by Earth Kosher.

Is your packaging 100% Plastic Free & Compostable?

Absolutely. Our packaging is 100% plastic-free and compostable, including interior film wrappers and sealing stickers. Made from eucalyptus wood pulp certified by PEFC and FSC.

What does Direct Trade mean and how is it different from Fair Trade?

Direct Trade means we work directly with farmers to ensure fair compensation (significantly above market price) with full transparency. Unlike Fair Trade which can lack transparency on farmer treatment and payment timing.

How is the Chocolate Best Stored?

Keep in a cool, shaded place at 60-70°F. We don't recommend refrigeration as it diminishes natural flavors. Consume within a few weeks of purchase - we use no preservatives or emulsifiers.

While none of our bars contain peanuts, they are made in a facility that processes peanuts and tree nuts.
